A Very Long Day At The Office
Emma sighed as she made her way down one of the many winding corridors of S.H.I.E.L.D. Running a hand through her slightly disheveled hair, she shook her head, trying to make sense of the days events. Nothinghad gone according to plan. The day had started with what was becoming a fairly routine evacuation of her office. It seemed that a certain god of Mischief had decided to unleash a herd of…something…within headquarters, and the havoc the beings had wreaked was tremendous. Emma’s office, along with the few reports she’d been foolish enough to leave behind had been destroyed, costing her hours of work. To say Fury had not been pleased with the events was an understatement, and even his like of her hadn’t saved her from his frustration. Then, to make matters worse, one of Stark’s inventions had malfunctioned, spraying coffee all over her uniform. Thus, she now found herself roaming the halls in her training gear, leaving Emma feeling incredibly unprofessional.
Murphy’s law has got nothing on today.
Rounding the corner, Emma entered the make shift office space she’d relocated earlier, and sat herself down in front of the computer, staring blankly ahead.
“Unfreakin’ believable” She muttered to herself in quiet frustration.
Phil finished his paper and placed his pen back in his desk. It was 6:05 and Fury had requested them to be done by 6:30. Slowly standing up, he stretched a bit and then took a sip of his coffee before grabbing the papers and walking out of his office. It had been a long day, full of paperwork and the god of mischief. After yelling at him for a good hour and a half, he finally called off the hoard of miniature trolls and left, leaving Phil to his desk for the rest of the day. Glad to finally be able to get up and out of his office, he took the long route to Nick’s office, stopping often to talk to various agents. After leaving the papers on his desk at exactly 6:20, he started to walk back to his office. Going yet again another way, he realized that this was the hallway that Loki’s trolls had attacked. Walking through slowly, sizing up the damage, he noticed something. Emma was sitting in her office looking tired as hell.
He walked up to the office and knocked a few times on the open door before walking in. “Hey, you okay kid?”
Emma had thankfully managed to finish rewriting the reports that had been damaged in the midst of the trolls rampage. With a press of a key, they were emailed to Fury’s inbox. Thankful that she wouldn’t incur further wrath from the Director, Emma took a moment to let her head sink into what was left of her desk. Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes, only to snap her head back up seconds later at the sound of someone knocking on her door.
Crap
“Sir!” Emma offered Coulson her best (poorly executed) attempt at a put together smile. “I, uh, just sent Director Fury the last of our reports for the day. My apologies for not being able to do so sooner!” Recalling her lack of professional dress, Emma blushed and cleared her throat softly. “Please excuse my lack of uniform. One of Mr. Stark’s appliances ruined my spare uniform earlier.”
Phil smiled slightly. He understood the bad day feeling, he’d had more than enough of those. “It’s alright, it’s been a long day for all of us. And don’t worry about your uniform, Mister Stark always has us all on our toes.” He looked around her wrecked office. ”Wow, you got the trolls badly didn’t you? I’m sorry about Loki, he’s a pain in the ass.”

I’d be upset. For two reasons. One because you’re a very skilled agent and somewhat fun so be around sometimes, and two because I’d have to deal with Thor crying like a baby.
You’re a valuble and smart agent. I’d be pretty upset for our loss.
((Thanks!!))
